  Pinyin: Huo-xiang       Latin: Agastache Rugosa  
 
Description:

Agastache is also commonly called Korean Mint and is also known as Giant Hyssop.  It is a scented perennial or biennial.  

Agastache has a purple-mauve flower spikes with triangular leaves.  The plant will typically grow up to 36 inches tall.  

This herb grows in moist woodlands, and high plains and can be found in North America, Europe and Asia.

Traditional Medicinal Uses:

Agastache has been commonly used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to treat a variety of ailments.  The parts of the plant that is used for medicinal purposes is the flower, the leaf, and the stem.*

In TCM, it has been traditionally used for the following: strengthen the stomach, helping with symptoms of nausea, vomiting, fevers, wounds, diarrhea, and angina.*
