Description:
Sophora flavensis (Ku Shen), also from Asia, is an important herb in TCM, where it is used to support the health of the skin and hair, the urinary tract and gastrointestinal tract, and in the treatment of diverse conditions such as jaundice, dysentery, diarrhea, vaginitis, eczema, pruritis, ringworm, scabies and itching allergic reactions.
The root is anti-helmintic, antibacterial, antifungal, antipruritic, astringent, bitter, carminative, diuretic, febrifuge and tonic of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Trichomonas vaginitis.
